Load a texture file

Is there a possible way to load psp files(Paint Shop Pro) I know I could save it as a png file. But, I'm lazy. Nick

What language or tool are you using? Are you using any graphical API? Are you using MFC or Win32?

Including that information in your post will get you better and/or faster answers here. However -- in this case, I can make a pretty good guess that there is no way of loading a "psp" file that is easier or shorter than converting the file some more standardized type (BMP for example -- I can't think of a graphics library or API that doesn't support loading BMP files).

If you're using Paint Shop Pro, it does save BMP files and more, quite simply.

I just wanted to load a texture file in Direct3D 9.

I could easily save the file as png format to save the transparent attributes.

But, I didnt want copies all pver the place.
