I have studies the book OpenGL Game Programming. This book loads the md2 models. but as i have seen the 3dsmax software, it cannot export the files as the md2 files. so how can i create suhc models? Another question: can we add 24bpp or 32 bpp textures to the md2 models? Can we create a 3ds model and then covert it to the md2 model with its textures? If its possible, which application or software should i use? Regards -Ehsan-

For 3dS Max you can download a plugin to export to md2.
Blender can export to md2 with add on scripts.
MilkShape lets you make md2 models.

As for the other questions i do not know the answer. But i have heard that when modeling there is a certain way you want to make your models, before you export.
