Make a Game Contest

Contest Dates: Starts right now and goes until August 31st. You can enter a game that you've already made or create a new one. Prizes: 1st Prize- Signed copy of Dragonshard (Or another AAA title if it's delayed past then, still waiting for word on that) 2nd Prize- E3 Grabbag with exclusive magazines, stickers, post cards, and everything else I got at E3 3rd Prize- NewEgg.com T-Shirt from E3 (Says "Extreme Indoor Enthusiast" on front) 4th Prize- NCSoft exclusive poster from E3 Rules: Make a short game, it shouldn't take any longer than 10 minutes to allow the player to get to understand the game, that is set in a space or old-American West setting, and it must be creative and innovative. The games will be judged on creativity/innovation, controls and how much fun it is to play. Graphics, etc. will not have a category, but if your game excels in a specific area that is not judged you will get a bonus point. The judging cards will look like this: Control(1-10)- Creativity/Innovation(1-10)- Fun(1-10)- Bonus Points(Graphics, etc.)- The game that achieves the best score will win, and there will be prizes for 2nd, 3rd and 4th place as well. You can create a 2d game, 3d game, FPS, platformer, adventure game, RPG, side-scroller, and anything else you want. There are no rules to what genre or how your game looks. Make sure it's fun, creative/innovative, easy to pick-up, and moves the game development forward. You may use any programming language, open-source engine, RPGMaker, mod kit, or anything else you want to use to make it. You may use any royalty-free art or open-source engine you would like, but no copyrighted art or code. Please list you sources in your entry form.
