SDL program building problem

When ever I try and make an sdl program it get the message: fatal error LNK1561: entry point must be defined I have tried other peoples code and get the same result. What am I doing wrong?

You will need to create a project (Win32 Console more specifically) before you try and compile code. Then you will need to add the files you are trying to compile to the project as well. I assume you are using some MS based compiler, so make sure you also have a valid main function. Here is the MSDN reference.

i had this problem when i first started, it ended up being because with sdl you HAVE to define main with the int argc char *argv[] parameters, you cant just write int main(void)
