Hi, I'm not sure if this kind of tool exists... but just in case I would like to ask. I'm developing a 2D game. I have several BMP files with the tile sets. I do a pixel by pixel collision detection. For example, if in my map I have a 32x32 wall located in (200,100), I do for ( int i=0;i<32; i++) for ( int j=0; j<32; j++ ) g_Map[200+i][100+j] = 1; where '1' means 'wall'. I would like to have each level saved in a separated file, so once I load it, I can parse it and do the kind of code I showed before. I would basically need one file with the bit information for collisions, and probably another file with the information about the displayed graphics. Before trying to do the map editor myself... Is there available any Map editor that does something similar? Thanks!
