Hey everyone, I was wondering if there was a way so when someone signed up to your site you could make C++ create a dns record (subdomain) on a Windows Server 2003. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Uhhm.. That post really didn't make sense..

I will assume you use IIS.. .. It's probably possible to do, but it won't be an easy task.. Du you accutually mean add a dns record (to the dns server, as in those free subdomain services), or do you want to provide hosting and give your members subdomains (in this case, you are probably not looking for dns records, but virtual hosts on the webserver)..

If you are using apache, then look in httpd.conf, section <VirtualHost *>. Easy to parse & to add subdomain. Then just restart apache. I guess, that IIS should have close structure to this.

Good luck!
