Why can't I draw a mesh and polygons from a vertexbuffer at the same time? I have only three things that are being drawn. 2 quads (which are only 4 polygons in my vertexbuffer) and a mesh I loaded off disk called Sphere.X. Everytime I draw the mesh like so: For Current_Material = 0 To Number_Of_Materials - 1 Direct3D_Device.SetMaterial Material(Current_Material) Mesh.DrawSubset Current_Material Next Current_Material The other two polygons don't get drawn. It didn't matter whether I drew the mesh first or the polygons first. Only the mesh got drawn. However, commenting out the line "Mesh.DrawSubset Current_Material" has allowed the 2 polygons to get drawn finally. Is there a way around this? Thanks in advance.
