DirectX Mesh file format confusion

IS there a Big difference or is the d3DX .X Mesh format has been changed? since ive got some of my X mesh file that can be open before and can be viewed using the mview tools with the SDK but when it comes to the OCTOBER and the APril 2005 update the file cant be read anymore. In the April Update the function pSkinInfo->GetBoneName(i) now returns a garbage name and thus setting up the bone failed. heres the Mesh X file im talking about. http://geocities.com/ruellm/dwarf.zip this can be open with my old code (DirectX 9 original) and failed on the new updates
