Hi, Has anybody tried to call c++ dll methods from a C++ managed exe?. What about if this methods return C++ objects/pointers?. I want to use this to create an editor for my game, and windows forms is a nice thing to use. Thanks in advance, HexDump.

Hi!
It works perfeclty well. The project I'm working on now is using C++, C++/CLI and C#. The GUI is developed in C# while I use C++/CLI as glue code between C# and C++. I'm far from being a professional when it comes to this combo, but If you need any help, don't hesitate to ask :)

I've done this many times when working with the DotNet language platform. Marshalling objects can get a little 'wordy', but it's necessary when performing any kind of interop between different platforms. It sure is nice to be able to reach into native libraries and take advantage of what they can offer.
