hello! i'm a complete newbie in mobile phone programming and i am having trouble using KToolbar. i can't build my project because it cannot find my jdk. i tried several things but to no avail (like putting the jdk in the same folder as the toolkit and placing a copy of the jdk in the jre folder which the toolkit tries to locate in installation). what could i do about this problem? i searched google about this problem but i can't find anything that could fix this problem and there could be something i could do to remedy this.

Are all the necessary environment variables set (JAVA_HOME, MIDP_HOME)?

um, how do i do that? that is probably the thing that i am missing
I'll assume you have Windows XP. If so, right click on "My Computer" and choose "Properties...". Go to the "Advanced" tab and in the bottom you will see a button labelled "Environment Variables". There you can add/edit your env. vars.

I would reinstall the JDK. Those variables should have been automatically set during the install...

I had same problem after installing JDK after WTK one day ago. Solution was to uninstall the WTK and then reinstall it again.
