get place of memory leaks

if i have detected memory leaks in my program i want to do two things: 1. know the place of creation on the source code ( _cdumb... doesn't show this ) 2. delete all the memory leaks from the place of detection step 1 was allowed to me through mfc calls but unfortunatrly i can't use mfc with directX so is there a way through C routines. i am using VC 6. THanks for any help.
