In debug mode, my MFC app crashes when I try and delete memory allocated in a non-MFC dll. Now before we start hearing about "you can't do that cross DLL boundaries like that" I was hoping to find out if somebody knows of a define or something that will allow this to work properly.
Debug Assertion Failed!

Program: C:\svn\tmp\borked\debug\MfcApp.exe
File: dbgheap.c
Line: 1132

Expression: _CrtIsValidHeapPointer(pUserData)

There isn't any magic wand that will fix things like this.

If you control both pieces make sure they're built to used the dll version of the C/C++ runtime library. If you can't rebuild them or get different versions from the author than you're probably out of luck.
