Hi all! Im learning skeletal animation and I have it all figured out - except the interpolation part of it. I have been told that I should interpolate the Quaternion with SLERP, and that I should interpolate translation liniar. Im developing the engine in java - does anyone know if a predefined java class exsist that does SLERP? If not does anyone have some advice on making one? Liniar interpolation of translation vectors - what formula do I use for this?

I have been looking around and found something interesting.
The Quat4f-class in the javax.vecmath package has an interpolate method but I dont know if it uses SLERP - it says in the description that it creates cirkular interpolation:

quat4f.interpolate(Quat4f q, alpha);

This method exsist for the Vector3f-class aswell for traslation interpolation.

I guess I have what I need!
Always great when you can answer your own questions...=)
