Has anyone noticed that changing the near frustum plane really affects the rendering performance, but only for shadow volumes??? If I change the near clipping plane from 1 to 0.1 the framerate drops from 30 to 20 fps? Is this normal? I don't think so... If I disable the shadow volumes, changing the clipping plane does not affect the frame rate. Is this happening to someone else? Try moving the near clipping plane, but make sure it does not clip anything from geometry. //Mr.WereWolf//
