I'm a programmer, not a designer, hence I have a little bit of trouble when it comes to page layouts. I can make simple ones, sure, that's easy but now I've been reading everywhere that tables are being discouraged when it comes to page layouts. The current design I'm working on right now has most of the div classes positioned absolutely using percentages. Bad practice? I'm seriously thinking so but I would like to know the opinions of others here.
