Is it Ok to install a licensed VS7 over unlicensed Windows? Will I have any problems w/ Microsoft looking at my conpiled apps?

You're talking about stuff you yourself code and compile?

Uh, why would they want to?

No, it isn't ok. It is illegal (in the US, at least) to use a program like windows without a license to use it.

I can use library computers with windows on them without a license. The library must own a license to have windows on their computers, however, which is what you most likely meant. Reported for closure. Pirating software is a huge no no in a forum full of software developers.
