Anyone know where I can find code to write a Directx9 screensaver? Have searched for the code at Microsoft's site but they don't have it. Googling returns lots of ads for premade screensavers, no source code. Thanks in advance.

The DX SDK has a screen saver sample. It's probably on your disk already!

Thanks for the reply.
Nope, looked in the sample dir and the Sample browser app.

Microsoft used to have DX 8 screensaver code but it seems that they don't bother with DirectX 9 screensavers anymore.

That's true; it is just an ordinary screen saver application which happens to use DX. Anyway, my DX9 SDK does contain such a sample. I have a 26k ZIP file for you -- if you want it notify me with your email and I'll send it to you. It was in the Samples\C++\Direct3D\ScreenSavers\Moire folder.

Illco.
