I'm trying to pack up my demo to be distributed to users, but after installing it onto a fresh PC with only the DX9c End User software installed I get the error "d3dx9_26.dll not found" or something to that nature.. I went ahead and installed the SDK on there and now it runs fine, but I don't want to have to ask people to download the SDK if I don't have to. Is there a step I'm missing somewhere in redstributing? Do I need to include some DLLs?

Is this 9.0c end user the same release as the SDK (february, april, june august)!? The end user must have the same or newer version/release.

a 9.0c august version of your app on a end-user that has 9.0c-<before august> wont work.

Ah, I didn't realize that, I guess I should hunt down the June/August version. Thanks.
