I'm trying to create an automatic installer for some USB drivers, but I'm lost as the most obvious thing doesn't work. The "most obvious" would be: Copy the .inf to the system32 and .sys file to the system32/drivers folder, and pray it works. Sadly, Windows (XP atm) won't detect the USB device like this and will pop up with a "new hardware found" wizard. I've been browsing the web for a way to install my driver automatically, but I have not found a resource that gets me past "how to write an inf file". Does anyone know how I can make an installer for this driver so windows detects the device automatically? Thanks!
