Hello, How do you stop and app in NetBeans once you ran it? Let’s say you are stuck in an infinite loop, how would you stop the code from running? Once you press F6 or “Run Main Project” there is no stop button like Visual Studio! Is there a keyboard shortcut or something? I searched Google and the IDE documentation and nothing came up. I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Go to the 'Runtime' window (Ctrl + 5 if you can't see it). Then look under processes. Right click on your process and press terminate. Don't know if thats the only way but works for me. Guess you could set up a shortcut for it or something.

While your app is running inside netBeans, go to the "build" menu and click on "stop building". It should kill the process after a few seconds
