torque

How long have you been coding C++? Games in general? At all? Have you made any games (like finished ones)? Why would you need the Torque engine? A couple of thoughts..

About code to display and clear it. I suggest getting the API Documentation and looking it up.

ok, i won't use torque, i've found that jolt3d is better for me, thanks for replying though :)

by the way, can you use a combo of a game engine and direct/openg?

Agreed. Ogre3D for example has plugins that support OpenGL as well as D3D rendering. However, you DO NOT do any OpenGL/DirectD3D specific programming with the engine itself. You use the engine's layer of abstraction to get what you need done.
