D3DX DLL home needed

Hi, as you are probably aware the recent SDK updates have included a new .dll for the D3DX library. This has caused end users masses of problems and 1000's are trawling the web for d3dx9_XX.dll. From the June release of the SDK Microsoft made it possible to create an installer with just the missing dlls in it. This half solved the problem as you were not allowed to just provide the dll on its own. So I created the installers and put them on my website. Now I have a problem because so many people are downloading them I am hitting my web providers bandwidth limits. I am getting hit by close to 2GB a day. It would be a shame if I have to remove these files as they are helping a lot of people out. So I am asking is there anyone with lots of bandwidth who could host them? If so just grab them from my site and I will link to you. cheers Keith

I've put up a mirror at http://www.shdon.com/view?doc=d3dx. I don't think 2GB a day is very pleasant, but if enough people do this, we can spread out the pain a little.
Kippesoep
Great thanks, I will not dump the whole lot on you at once - hopefully if someone else comes forward we could, as you say, spread the load a bit.

I have unlimited traffic because my friend owns a server. I'd be happy to take off some of the load (though probably not all, he might not like it). Just give me some instructions on what I have to do.
Thanks, well if you want to host one or two of the installers that might be an idea. It is up to you if you want to put a page up, otherwise I would need a file link. The files are here: http://www.toymaker.info/Games/html/d3dx_dlls.html

Perhaps if you could start by taking d3dx9_24.dll and I could host one and kippesoep could host the other that would spread the traffic nicely.

I have them all up right now on www.effigyband.net/D3DX. If the traffic gets to be too much I'll pull some off, probably the older ones.
Here they are:

Hey thanks Kamakaze15- I will update my page to point some people to your site - I will try to distribute the load as much as possible.

It is all in place and my bandwidth has dropped quite considerably so thanks a lot - let me know if it gets too high.

I've added a page to NeXe: D3DX DLL. The bandwidth is unlimited so there should be no problems.
