DirectSound errors are driving me crazy!!!

error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _IID_IGraphBuilder error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _DirectSoundCreate8@12 error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _IID_IMediaEvent error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _CLSID_FilterGraph error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _IID_IMediaControl ok wat do all those things mean, and how am i meant to fix them any help is really needed thanx in advance

i hadn't added dsound.lib, but i still get

error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _IID_IGraphBuilder
error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _IID_IMediaEvent
error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _CLSID_FilterGraph
error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _IID_IMediaControl

those 4 errors

well, i just realised that they are all directshow errors now, so i added some strmiids.lib or something

now i am just getting 1 error

error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol __imp__strdup

i wonder wat that means... help plz

Don't recognise the last one, but a little cursory googling suggests ws2_32.lib should be linked to. Failing that, it might be something to do with your run time library. Other than that though, I've no suggestions, so I hope it works out.
