Setting the Index Buffer

Should i have many a index buffer for each mesh and keep switching the index buffer by using: g_d3d_device->SetIndex(index[x]) or just put all the index of all the mesh into 1 huge index buffer and just call g_d3d_device->SetIndex(hugeindex) once. Which is a preferable method to use?

One huge index buffer would be better as long as you render all your mesh at once.

Generally you should try to reduce the number of state changes to improve performance.
