GLSL VS uniforms

I am not sure why this is, but on Nvidia hardware mainly 6800 hardware, does the VS only allow 8 uniforms to be uploaded at once? If so, do I just re-upload data into that variable number but under a different variable name? Sorry if I am not clear I am dead tired...

You need to post the code snippets that you're using, and you need to post what the results are. Both GLSL and the using C code would be needed, and the result of glGetError() before and after the failing function.
