Hi, I'm finished doing my concept. Now that I'm looking for some developers to work with, I have to write a software requirements specifications or product requirements document. Does anyone have an example that he/she could show to me? I don't care about real product information so if you erase real names or so thats fine with me... I just need a real good example and would be glad if someone of you folks could help me out :) thx, eduward

We do ours using Excel along the lines of Joel's Software Schedule. It starts life as a major feature list and increase in detail until it's a schedule. It's one document then that serves as the statement of work to the client and the schedule to us.

Most requirements documents are [Word] documents with a fancy header and footer block, and then an outline of the major and minor features with a table of contents.
