i've just upgraded dev-cpp & the gcc that came with it. i have my own assert function - one that will display a msgbox on windows and allow me to continue if i want to now i get warnings when i compile about ths being redefined. i wouldn't care about the warnings but the chances are that when a real compilation error occurs, it's buried in a thousand warnings... can they be disabled? (aside, when i started typing it was displayed in some ringtone ad at the top left. on hitting return, firefox jumps to another page - highly annoying...)
