Installing sdl in your compiler

I have searched and found tutorials but i never found a tutorial that tells you how to install sdl on a compiler, i am using dev c++ 4, if anybody can help i will appreciate it.

There should be an package for SDL in the Dev C++ updater. BTW you'll probably want to install the related library packages of SDL_Mixer, SDL_Graphics, etc. for the added functionality.

All you have to do is install the latest SDL DevPak, move it to the package manager in Dev C++ and it will automatically install. Then to use it, create a new C++ project and link the files to your project, then your good to go.

Have a look at the SDL entry in the Unofficial Alt. Games Library FAQ as well. There's lots of great stuff for SDL.
