Im currently using Dev-C++ 4.9.9.2 and am starting to learn DX, i've got a basic window with triangle working but now im trying to get rotating cube to work. Whenever I try to use any Matrix types or functions i'm getting an undeclared function error. I've included d3d9.h in the .cpp file and have linked libd3d9.a to the project. Can anyone tell me why the matrix functions seem to be missing?

Hi there MartyJ,
How are you doing?

The Problem
Matrix functions are missing

The Solution
If you are refering to matrix functions like D3DXMatrixTranslation and the D3DXMATRIX structures you will need to include the following headers
#include <d3dx9.h>
#include <d3dx9math.h>

Hope this helps, keep cool.
