New program from me ... not the greatest, but it's still in the works. =P
Hey everyone. I have started developing a program that helps manage appointments. I started it two days ago. I have the basic functionality complete, but I am planning on allowing it to popup when the computer starts (optional) to remind of any appointments on that day. Or maybe it will remind of appointments on the current day, and will remind a couple hours before, and the user can choose to ignore further reminders for that appointment, or delete the appointment from the list. Here is a link to a screenshot: (Sorry for the "Unregistered" text, but I'm using a screenshot program that I just downloaded. =P)

Let me know what you think of the idea. I mean, I know it's not the first of its kind, but I figured it could be something useful, and if anyone would like to make comments/suggestions on this idea, please let me know.
Thanks! =)
Looks good, has a nice simple interface!
Is this done in WIN32?
Also may i suggest that for something to pop up it could pup up like MSN does, a descrete reminder.
Nice one, keep working at it,

Hey, thanks for the comment/suggestion.
It is not done in Win32. It is done in MFC (MSVC++ 6.0). It didn't take me that long to get to this point. The save/open code, when I do apps. like this, is always what takes the longest. I do not know why! =P
Anyhow, what kind of "discrete" reminder are you talking about? I don't use MSN. Is it like a balloon tip that pops up over the system tray icon?
Thanks again. =)

Yeah a balloon tip would be perfect. Have you considered using wxWidgets, its excellent for doing interfaces.
