Hello there, Thanks to some good folks here on this forum I found out about the free Microsoft Visual C++ 2003 Toolkit (with the optimizing compiler) but after reading the readme and checking out the MSDN I still can't figure out how to use it. Note: I don't want to plug it into an existing IDE, I want to learn how to use the command line to compile my projects that I wrote in the Visual C++ 6 Introductory version. But I can't figure out what to type into the command line to start the compiler. Can anyone link me a page or post somewhere that might help me get started? Keep in mind I have ZERO experience with using the command line to compile so please assume that I know less than nothing when making suggestions. Thanks in advance, any help is much appreciated!
