Hi all, I've started last year in Game Programming, but never done something more than a Pong remake. Now, i'm interested to do a game like Championship Manager or Football Manager, but i don't know how to build a good GUI. I'm trying Glade for Windows, but it not generates C++ code, only C. I've tried to do something with MFC but it's so complicated for me. Someone can say if there's a tool to do GUI quickly, or the only way is MFC or Win32 API? PS: for who don't know the games that i said above, it's a link for a screenshot of the Football Manager 2005. http://www.sigames.com/graphics/images/807.jpg Thanks.

If you are targetting the Win32 platform, I suggest taking the plung into managed code and C#.

If you want to aim for cross-platform you'll have to pray that Mono (.net for Linux and OSX) takes off.

If you want to stick with C++, you can look into other cross platform toolkits.
I have heard good things about http://www.wxwindows.org/

Thanks guy,

I'm targetting the Win32 Platform. I've tried wxwindows but it's so difficult for me.
What i need is something easier like a drag'n drop tool. If there isn't something like this, i should try GTK+ or wxWindows?
