I've recently grown concerned about the amount of memory my game is using. My current game uses alot of dynamic memory to handle the game objects, and I want to make sure I'm allocating and deallocating everything correctly. I was wondering if there is any program or any way to track the amount of memory being used by my game during runtime? I'm not really that familiar with the concept of memory debugging, but I hope to find a way to track the memory usage of my program. Thanks in advance.

I believe the task manager actually shows the allocation that windows gives the process, not the usage.

Yeah, if you just want to check that you're not leaking memory, you can use the task manager. Your apps memory usage will steadily climb if you're leaking memory, and then you can use some other tool to track the leaks down.

I'd also like to recommend MMGR, it's awesome.
