music in games

can u have music in games using just c++ or do you need a special program?

you need a API that intilizes the sound and stuff just like you would for the video... examples are SDL_Mixer there is one for the DirectX as well(may be discountined) then there is Ogg Vorbis and SMPEG libriraies.. you cna look all this stuff up and learn more

Take a Google on either Audiere or OpenAL. Both very nice (and easy) sound libraries for C/C++. :)
