were can i download c#? im reading this book on c# and it says something about a cd and stuff, does that mean the 100 doller one in stores? and is there a free download on the internet for it? thats safe and legal?, oh and do you have to pay money for the .net languages?

You could get the microsoft beta of visual C# 2005 for free.

Well, each express addition will be $50 I think when they come out, but as they're still in beta they're all free (and can be found along the left navigation bar of the link I sent you).
#Develop (SharpDevelop), to me, seemed like a good C# IDE... But then again I only messed with C# a few weeks..

Use #develop if you dont have money to buy VS.net. Also, if you go to a university, you might be able to dl VS.net from them(I got the entire VS.net from my IT site with my username and password).
