Hi,...I optimised my heightMap texture draw code...drawing step by step(multiple passes) only the triangles that share the same texture. Now i have a little problem with the places where textures bind. I wanted that the bind between the textures to be smooth. Can you please give me some suggestions,..ideeas about how to do the smooth transition from one texture to another as optimum as possible.(i don't know shaders) This is how my UN-smooth transition from one texture to another looks like: Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us Thank you.

One solution is to use multitexturing, and blend the two kinds of textures together smoothly. I'd advice you to download the sourcesample from codesampler.com - Multi-Texturing which describes how to do blending between textures. Using keyphrases in the source you can search for more specific documentation in the DX SDK or from MSDN. I hope that will get you started. Tell me if you need more concrete help.
