C++ multi-threading resources

I've dabbled with threads a little in the past. Nothing much more than spawning a thread off to do some task while the rest of the app continues off. I know rather conceptually mutexes and some of the other primatives involved for more complex interactions, but after that it gets a bit hazy. Anyone care to make suggestions about [preferably online] resources which describe some of the 'slightly more than primative' objects often used, 'how stuff works', or similar threading info that would help my learning process? [edit: most of the topics I find (via google) involve elementary use of primatives, or simple thread creation. I'm looking for something slightly more advanced and/or practical]
