i need an easy free 3d modeler(i have got animator but dont like it)iv never really modeled before..... please help!

Seemed to be easier than some of the other freebies I played around with.

Works with .X formats too...

I've seen people recommend Blender. I haven't used it myself, though, so I can't comment on how beginner-friendly it is.

I use Blender, and it is very good. The interface is slightly intimidating to beginners, but after you get used to it everything works very nice.

GMAX is fantabulous. Only problem is, it's very difficult to convert to .X file format.

I started with Milkshape, but moved to Blender fairly soon afterwards. Blender is really really good, and it only took me one tutorial to get a grasp of the interface.
