From DX SDK: The DuplicateSoundBuffer method creates a new secondary buffer that shares the original buffer's memory. But when I testing this function it always allocate new memory for each sound (I don't use DSBCAPS_CTRLFX flag for sound buffers). So what is the purpose of this function? Anyone observe this behavior too?
