2d convex hull intersection

Hi, I'm writing a little 2d game, and I would like to use convex hulls. The object that I'm testing is quite complex, and collision needs to be pretty accurate - so bounding rectangle intersection won't really cut it. Does anyone know any good papers that are relativly simple that talk about basic 2d convex hull intersection? Thanks, aCiD2
