Whats that all about? I try to reply in a thread ive started and gets kicked back to forum overview. Any1 knows how coma and how to solve it? If i cant reply in threads ive started, its all pretty pointless... Is there a timelimit when threads go passiva and in which you cannot reply? Thanks Suliman

Bingo. The recommended solution is to create a new thread and link the old one.

To expand a bit, old threads that havn't had any replies for a certain period of time (the exact time is forum-dependant, but is usually roughly a month I believe) are 'retired', to prevent people bringing up old threads constantly.

You can either contact a moderator and ask them nicely to reopen the thread in question for you, or alternately start a new thread linking to the old one.

thanks

resonable enough. But you should get a notification when you try to do it:

"Bozo, this thread is to old, therefor it is retired"

Would help users understand whats happening...
