I was wondering how to set an alpha key on a SDL_Surface so that I could have a transparent part. Does anyone know how this is done? (P.S. I want to only set it on ONE surface, if at all possible.)

Ah, so I was searching for the wrong thing. Ok, that'll work, thanks, stylin!

EDIT: Is UINT32 an integer struct with the properties "Red Green and Blue"?

Is UINT32 an integer struct with the properties "Red Green and Blue"?

Quote:
From SDL_types.h
typedef unsigned char	Uint8;
typedef signed char Sint8;
typedef unsigned short Uint16;
typedef signed short Sint16;
typedef unsigned int Uint32;
typedef signed int Sint32;

And in Windows, UINT32 is defined as:

typedef unsigned int UINT32;
