fastest curve method

whats the fastest fastest method of creating curves? accuracy is of least importance (ie good enuf looking hacks are ok) ideally i want to generate a curve that gos through all the control points (ie not bezier, more like catmull rom) but like i said ild take speed over flexibility. ive been mucking around with linear lerps between 3 control points but havent been able to nail something acceptable yet, as im sure this has been done umpteens times in the past i thought i'ld ask more wiser heads? ta zed

the fastest ones I could find were bezier. If your control points are uniform enough you could possibly create a closed form function to handle it more efficiently. It'd also be good to know the use of your points. For instance a simple optimization is to cache the sample points into an array of points and it'd be a simple look up with a possible lerp between the two.
