Lispsm troubles

Hello, I've been trying to implement light-space perspective shadow maps for a while now. Some sites say I only need the the scene bounding box, the view frustum and the light view frustum for lispsm to work correctly, but when I look at the code from the lispsm site, they do some really weird things with all kinds of bounding boxes. Can somebody tell me what they serve for and what input paramters I need for lispsm to really work correctly? Thanx
