Splitting up one texture into several

If I was to load in a large texure - say 512x512 - but I wanted that texture to be split up into individual sprites - say 10x10 - how would I go about this? Thanks.

You just need to specify the right texture coordinates. Sprite 1 would have coordinates of (0, 0) to (10./512, 10./512) and so on.
