profiling == no rendering

I'm using VC++ 6, and I'm trying to profile what I have, and whenever I select "Profile" and I press "Ok", it runs the program, but, instead of running so I can see the model rotating, it doens't render the model. I'm fairly confused about that because right after it profiles, I can run it, and the model will be rendered. Is there a particular problem, or is this just VC++ 6 being difficult?

Well this isn't really a solution, but I never had much luck with VC++6 profiling.
