Same applies for the name display on the health bar and the display of the winner after the match. If the match is finished with a Universal Finisher, Duo Combo, Universal Tag Como or a Trio Combo the back ground will turn green(earth) for example and the symbol for the element will surface from the background. When an Universal Finisher, Duo Combo or a Trio Combo finishes the match when a God is the character the background will have a lightning like display and K.O. will surface from the Background . When a Team Switch out Barrage finishes the match the same visual will be seen as when the match is finished with a Universal Finisher but the sequence will repeat three times each with the color of the three characters. i think that may have been a little long, not the design document, but why post the whole thing?

It's probably better to present design docs in a more easily navigable format, and link to them, rather than copy-paste the whole thing into a single post.

Also, some explanation of why you're posting it might help, so we can ensure our responses are useful.

I'be sure to get a navigatable format up and post a link tomorrow. As for the reason I wanted to see if anyone thought that they gameplay and the stage features are up to par.

Yeh, nice long document. I joke, I'm a student about to study computer games design and your document has relaly helped me understand the true depth of a game. I think your concept seems fun, and I really like the idea of 'powers'. What system is this for?

As for game play, as long as it isn't like street fighter alpha (3d) (ps1), or tekkens (robotic, stiffness) then you should be fine. Maybe use the soul caliber engine to run your ideas in.

Just an idea, but if your characters were smaller then a 3 man tag move may be easier to produce, instead of the very large characters you usually find with 3d fighters. Or maybe camera zooms out during a large move.

Will it be like street fighter where you can choose different modes? E.g. V-Type = for beginners and has limited moves, Z-Type = pro's all possible combo's????

What are your characters backgrounds going to play in the game (obviuously a fighter doesn't need a dep storyline, but sometimes an FMV of there background gives the player a sense of connectivity with certain characters).

As, i said i am a student and i am still very much in the learning stages of all this. Any tips are greatly appreciated.
