WIN32 not rendering on entire window

Hello, I have decided to use the WIN32 API to make my GUI however I ran into a problem. First of all I'm using OpenGL for graphics so don't know if it is the OpenGL code causing this or the windows code. Basically my problem is that when I start my application nothing gets render on 1/4 of the window on the right side. It just stays plain black. This happens if I make the window size 1024 x 768 or 800 x 600, the resolution doesn't matter. Any ideas what is going on? If you need to see some of the code than say which part. Thanks.

Have you looked at the code at nehe.gamedev.net yet? Compare your code to theirs and see if you spot the issue? Another idea might be to post your source code, remember to use the source tags (find how to use them in the FAQ) so we can read it

Sorry I got lazy and posted without looking into my code too much. As far as the mistake goes, I assigned the width of the window as HIWORD(lparam) but it should be LOWORD(lparam).
