No, officially it isn't supported - only Windows XP and up are supported now (Windows 2000 has been dropped for a while now, I don't even know how long its been for 98 ect...). However, you could always try it out and see if it works. Just because it isn't supported doesn't mean that is still doesn't run - instead, it means that you can't cry to MS about it. It's more of a testing issue than anything (ie they have to test everything on every compiler on every type of graphics hardware on every operating system).

Yup, that sounds about right... Although, I seem to remember reading news stories about people moaning when W98 went out of support - and that they gave it a special extension.
