Hello, What are the major differences between developing Online and offline games? Especially using PHP + DirectX + Linux + J2ME against conventional directx offline games? Thanks Jack

Online games tend to be more programming intensive, as you have to make sure each computer component of the game is connected and communicating correctly. If you're going for a live-action game such as a first person shooter or a real time strategy game, you'll have to make sure each of the computers connected are synced up with the constant flow of game data.
